That's the Indian Ocean. Sri Lanka is that blob of land in the n-ern center part of the image. GFS has been indicating deepening low in that area over the next few days. We'll have to see what happens.

A deepening low? Well, with any luck it'll stay away from land, but it is certainly something that merits a look every now and again.
