YEE-HAA!

#1 Postby hurricanetrack » Thu May 05, 2005 4:57 pm

Well, WXMan57 and Watkins et al seem to be right- the east Pacific is now starting to cool back off from its rampage towards warm conditions. I check that darned NCODA map every day about this time and have been quite depressed about what it showed. Not today! Look at it now-

I don't have an animation of it- but trust me, it looks like cooler waters are beginning to prevail again- and at least the warming has all but ceased.

Hopefully I won't jinx it by posting this!

I like the YEE-HAA! thing, it's catching. It looks like the Pacific is going back to its neutral state.

Thankfully so. Nobody wanted an El Nino - they are just too much trouble all round.

P.S. Love the YEE-HAA! too, lol. :)
