Congratulations on the new grandson. He is a little doll who will grow up way too fast. My 2nd grandson is due in 3 weeks. I hope to be able to go up and see him.

We have some good friends in nearby Wake Forest, NC who are recent 3rd time grandparents...they have a daughter and son-in-law in Charlotte and spent a week with them all helping out with their other 2 grandkids...ages 4 and 2...on an outing the grandfather took his other 2 grandkids out for a meal at a McDonald's and they kids played in the playground area there. :D
Apparently the 2 yr-old was up on a slide and was afraid to come down so the Grandpa tried to get the 4 yr-old sibling to go up and retrieve (help) the other kid get down...well, that didn't work and so Grandpa went up through the covered slide area and got the grandkid! :lol: :D :wink:

Just thought I'd share that kinda like a Reader's Digest Laughter Is The Best Medicine story with you all! :D
