Early Riser, late sleeper?
I *think* this has been done before, if so, sorry
Are you a EARLY riser or a late sleeper? Me, I'm up BEFORE the crack of dawn, anywhere from 0415 to 0500, 0500 for me is SLEEPING IN
I LOVE the early mornings, it's my *quite time*, just me and the dogs
I gather my thoughts and plans for the day by sitting on the front porch watchin' the sun creep up over the mountain peaks, sippin' on a cuppa Joe and havin' a smoke or two! I've NEVER been a late sleeper, "if" I sleep past 0600, I feel as if I've wasted the WHOLE DAY!

Well, Dennis I need at least 8 hours sleep to feel my best. I used to love sleeping in until 9 or so, but that only happened a handful of times thru the year. Now since we rise at 5:45 on school days, sleeping in until 7 feels like 9 used to! I do prefer getting up earlier now, since we're on this new routine. You get more done and feel better, in the long run. I'm not exactly awake though, right off the bat. Need my coffee for that. So that all said, my ideal wake up time would be 8 at the latest now, 7 is okay too. Not 5:45!!!! LOL

Early riser
but I go to bed early too. Usually between 8:30-9:00 pm. And I feel if I sleep late 1/2 my day is gone too.

For me it just depends. I seem to have a varied sleep schedule, but for the most part I seem to wake up on average around 7:30.

Early-raiser here! During the week I get up between 5:00 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. - on weekends if I am not exhausted I usually wake up around 7:15 or 7:30 a.m. !
This past weekend after working a 60 hour week - I slept until 9:30 a.m. - was shocked. Like Dennis said I felt like 1/2 my day was already gone.

I need my sleep also. I'm an early riser during the week, but I do sleep in on the weekends if I don't set my alarm clock. I have to agree that the early morning is the best time of the day - so peaceful and I enjoy being outside when it is nice out with my coffee, my pets and the paper.
Usually, when I've had enough sleep, I will automatically wake up earlier.

Late riser here (usually awaken around 8-8:30 a.m.)...too many 4 p.m. to midnight and 6 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. shifts on security guard posts to get up early (and an occasional "graveyard" shift...11 p.m.-7 a.m.). I also worked 3-11 p.m. security at the hospital....I rarely get sleepy before 12:30 or 1 a.m. unless I'm sick.
The only thing I ever hated about EDS? Working from 8 a.m.to 5 p.m., and having to get up early (6:45 a.m.
I'm definitely an evening person..

LOL@Pro!!! Me too, doesn't matter if it's summer, winter, fall, spring, it's 0415 EVERY, SINGLE morning, weekends, workdays, doesn't matter! What REALLY bites is in the winter, it's colder than a well diggers rear end and darker than my ex wifes closet at 0415, I mean, what do you do at those early hours?? Cruise the net of course!
