The Storm2K Worldwide Tropical Update for 27 May 2005 at 12Z.

Invest (xx/90W) (27/12Z)
Position: 4.1N 144.1E (555 mi SE of Yap, Micronesia)
Winds: 15 mph
Pressure: 1006 mb / 29.71"
Dvorak Est: Too weak

This invest is the westernmost of two newly formed waves. This wave poses the best chance for development as it nears the Philippine Sea, but any development will be limited.

Invest (xx/91W) (27/12Z)
Position: 4.4N 156.1E (230 mi WSW of Pohnpei, Micronesia)
Winds: 15 mph
Pressure: 1006 mb / 29.71"
Dvorak Est: Too weak

This invest is the easternmost of two newly formed waves. This wave poses a less of a chance for development than 90W, but the possibility remains present with low shear through the Caroline Islands.

Invest (xx/92P) (27/12Z)
Position: 3.4S 157.3E (435 mi NNW of Honiara, Solomon Islands)
Winds: 15 mph
Pressure: 1006 mb / 29.71"
Dvorak Est: Too weak

An out-of-season, near-equatorial wave near Melanesia poses very little threat for development.

Invest (xx/99A) (27/12Z)
Position: 5.9N 59.8E (790 mi NE of Victoria, Seychelles)
Winds: 15 mph
Pressure: 1006 mb / 29.71"
Dvorak Est: Too weak

This invest looks pretty hearty on satellite, but this is expected to be short-lived as the wave nears an area of stronger shear associated with the Somali Jet.
