a short while while ago we had two very strong cells slide through Macon county (Central IL) prompting severe tstorm warnings with golf ball sized hail observed to my west. i only came to find about these cells when Jami awoke me as they were entering the county line so although i didn't have time to run either one down (they split around the city of Decatur), i did snap off a few pics from where i could see. here in Decatur we did get some brief pea sized hail which i was fortunate to report however points N, W and E were the one's to see the worst of the storms. to the best of my knowledge, tornado warnings were issued in counties N however i have yet to hear of observations. if anyone here from points N can offer comment, please do! enjoy the pics! p
