Radar Circulation - NWS Tampa & Key West

#1 Postby TampaFl » Sat Jun 04, 2005 7:10 am

Interesting, what appears to be a "very weak" mid - upper level circulation just off the SW FLorida coast moving slowly north. Thoughts and comments welcomed.

From what I see on both radars it is the convection associated with the trough and broad low circulating around the low, not a mid level circulation. The convection on the west side does not turn back to the E at any point I see. That would be needed for true circulation. That low and the trough associated with it stretch all the way from the panhandle to the NW Carribean.
