Days and nights are mixed up

The weather must have jet lag... it's mixed up it's days and nights! Now instead of temps rising during the day and falling at night... we get hotter nights and colder days LOL have to admit this is one of the strangest
temp forcast I've seen for Chi town.

From NWS:

Today: Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could be severe, with damaging winds. Partly cloudy, with a temperature falling to around 75 by 5pm. South wind between 10 and 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Tonight: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly cloudy, with a temperature falling to near 69 by 11pm, then rising to around 83 during the remainder of the night. South southwest wind between 5 and 10 mph.

Thursday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly cloudy, with a temperature rising to near 88 by 9am, then falling to around 75 during the remainder of the day. South wind between 5 and 15 mph.

EDIT: oh and it's still 83 degrees and 5:30PM
