.DISCUSSION...LATEST AND UPCOMING ADVISORY...TPC WILL UPGRADE THE
TROPICAL STORM WATCHES TO TROPICAL STORM WARNINGS FOR THE
MISSISSIPPI COAST. THEY WILL ALSO ISSUE A HURRICANE WATCH FOR THE

. SOME ADDITIONAL STRENGTHENING IS POSSIBLE AND THIS IS
THE REASONING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF THE HURRICANE WATCH ON THE
MISSISSIPPI COAST.

TROPICAL STORM ARLENE CONTINUES TO SLOWLY INTENSIFY. LATEST
HURRICANE CENTER INFO HAS BROUGHT HER UP TO 50KTS (APPROX 60MPH).
ARLENE LOOKS TO MAKE LANDFALL SOMETIME TOMORROW EVENING/NIGHT WITH
LATEST TRACK BRINGING LANDFALL SOMEWHERE NEAR PASCAGOULA. CURRENT
INLAND PROJECTED WINDSPEEDS ARE AT 50KTS WITH POSSIBLE GUSTS AROUND
60KTS (APPROX 70MPH). AN INLAND TROPICAL STORM WATCH WILL LIKELY BE
ISSUED LATER TODAY FOR OUR SOUTHEAST MISSISSIPPI COUNTIES FOR

I was afraid of this....why I mentioned the distinct possibility of hurricane watch or warnings being neccesary in my evening analysis yesterday (on my website).
