Remember when MTV played music videos all the time?

Here in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex, AMC has moved from channel 67 to 138 on digital cable to make way for Comcast-owned G4 channel.
TCM is still in the regular line-up (channel 68).
I think American Movie Classics is becoming more like "American Movie Channel", however I can give them a thumbs up for playing "Independence Day" and doing those "Three Stooges" marathons. Of course I think Spike TV got them playing now.

Yes indeed. I've noticed this for awhile now. It's been on my mind, that may have actually mentioned it before.
I believe Ted Turner bought AMC or something along those lines. The true classics that were on AMC are have been on Turner Classic Movies (TCM).
Talk about it being "American Movie Channel" rather than "American Movie Classics."
