Very intense "line" of storms. I bet this affects areas north of DFW (perhaps DFW itself) early Friday.

85 mph winds in Kingfisher, OK!

Aloft fortunately.

This looks a lot worse than it sounds. Doesn't appear to be an extreme wind event(some wind damage, yes, but more like 60-70 mph gusts). It's defintely weakened quite a bit.

Well this line is probably going to come through Norman here soon. I'll report what I can tonight or tomorrow if I lose power. So far this line has been impressive and this may be the best severe wx event I've seen since I've been out here in Norman (moved here May 2004).

Well around 1200-1205am the power went out here at my apt briefly (maybe 5-10secs). Winds didn't appears to be that bad, maybe around 40mph or so but definitely not 80-90mph in other areas as that would've definitely bought down some trees here in my immediate vicinity. Lightning show is definitely impressive and areas south of here are still reporting 50-70mph gusts. Looks like my part of Norman at least escaped the worst part of this storm.
