:roll: Just noticed TWC has an "Off Topic" forum again.....sorry to say it's pretty pitiful. It seems there are no moderators checking, even tho several have requested. :?:

I DO enjoy the Gardening Forum....and post there often....but, I have to tell ya.....it's ALL OF YOU that make THIS place so comfy........p :wink:

Yeah I stopped by there and made a topic about how bad the OT Forum is a little while back. Needless to say the trolls there ripped me apart.
I have been a member of TWC Forums since 2002, so its funny how the people that ripped me apart have only been a member for a few weeks :roll:

Hi PetalPusher. Nice to see you. Interesting turn of events, of course.

I'm a romantic of sorts. I still want to believe that TWC and their boards will make a serious commitment to their fans and followers. I know some really great people there...but they just can't seem to clear the hurdle and make that next level of commitment like we see here.

I still have my hall pass allowing me to visit. Don't be surprised if I show up in the room.

I'll be the dorky one off in the corner.

I was good and refrained from pushing petalpusher over! :lol:

It was shocking to hear of and to see some of the topics (to say the least! :roll: )

Perhaps as Poppysky said, they are/will try to reach out to their fans once more and make it a more serious weather site/channel for us weather nerds. I don't know if the guy that came in and changed all that is still there, but it seems to me that it's the only way they can do a 180 successfully.

Not being disrespectful to anyone who posts there and I know many here have their original roots there, but I could care less how well that board does or what they do. They owe numerous apologies for the way they treated many of us IMO. And yes they did reinstate my posting rights, but I haven't used them.

You're absolutely right David! They have alot of kissing up to do if they are serious about retaining good members and have a quality board.

It'll be interesting to see what happens.

HEY... that goes ditto for Grim.... an original going back to the good old days of TWC chat. After reading this thread I went back and claimed my name and posting rights too, but couldn't find anything interesting enough to bother with.

You can say that an infinite times again! :eek: FWIW, my screen name over at TWC is SVRNEB, but you have to search to find any of my posts as I do NOT post very often there.

The Off-Topic forum looks like a dissaster. They have some topics over there that, if they were introduced here at S2K, would not only result in a ban, but likely a report to ISP. Some of the topics over there scream "R" or even NC-17 just by looking at the subject line. :eek:

I noticed that about a week or so ago. I went in there but didn't post because I don't really know anyone there anymore. All my friends are here at Storm2K. I still post my daily reports there because I've been doing that for a couple years.
