Prepare now 1st Cindy, Dennis on Mon Tues time frame. I work at Home Depot and some insight get your generators now. Don't get stuck in that long line and going to each Home depot hopeing to find one. Just friendly advice.Stay safe my friends.

Good advice boca. No excuses for not being prepared after the wake up call we just received. If you've been wanting a generator, plywood, etc... get out there before it's too late, folks.

lasy year during Frances and Jeanne people were offering me money to move them up in line.Don't let that be you. Texas, La ,Miss AL and FL panhandle I think I got all the states this time.

Make sure you fill your gas tank early and top it off each day. Gas stations were entirely packed before Frances. Most ran out of gas and closed before the storm even arrived.

Another thing I forgot is those battery operated fans. With no electricity those fans will help you sleep at night. I had four aiming at me.It makes a world of difference.
