No one on the Coast is out of the woods by any means. This storm is about 4 days out and things can change and change quickly. Keep up with this one it looks to be nasty.

You ARE NOT out of the woods by any means.

Now, the odds of Dennis making landfall over your way are extremely low - less than 2% per the NHC probabilities chart, I would not say
anyone is safe just yet.

PS - and welcome aboard the storm2k ship!

It depends on the strenght of ridge to the north of the storm....stronger ridge means farther west for Dennis .......stay tuned!!!!

Hey, neighbor! :) Welcome to S2K!

Keep watching this one. He hasn't made enough of a turn yet for my comfort, and until he does, I'll be on the edge of my seat. Even after he turns (if he turns), we still need to watch. These things aren't like rockets or baseballs, propelled in one general, predictable curve. They can go anywhere and do more strange twists and turns than you'd see on a dance floor.

It's still too early to tell. The truth is nobody knows. The NHC does a great job on predicting these storms - all things considered, - but beyond 48-72 hours their tends to be a large margin of error.

Stay tuned, and welcome to Storm2k!
