Seems our buddy Dennis is not going to cross land anytime soon, and will probably get away with crossing the shortest part of Cuba. Amazing!

I see...storms do not like to cross over mountains. Watch this one make landfall right around where Charley did.

A WNW wobble for sure, but even wobbles make big differences this close to land.

If it hits where Charley hits Havana is done for.

Keep in mind, you are seeing this in a skewed manner since its presenting a curved Earth on a flat plane.

Yeah, but only slightly so. It's probably traveling about 290-295.

It wobbled 290-295 but it most likely will resume its 310-315 heading once its ERC finishes and a RIC begins.

Eh I'm sure they keep a NW heading. But any westward wobble just keep its offshore longer and further away from Cubas central mountains.

Good link, it definitely took a westward wobble, will see what the future images hold.

The last image also shows the eyewall already starting to come back on all sides...

It's take a pronounced west wobble in the past 30 minutes or so... have to give it time to see if it is a trend or not.

The one noticebale thing is that the western eyewall is coming back with a fury.

Normady, That satellite there shows that reds/whites are wraping around the western side. It looks like its coming together. Also it looks like its moving west-northwestward.

Your right, could it be eye replacement occurring that caused the left movement, we shall see.

Yea I agree matt.
Also, make it a 30 frame loop, it becomes CLEARLY evident then. If I were in havana id be watching this wobble closely.

Run Floater 2 on Visible and overlay the forecast points. The NHC hit on the one at the tip earlier tonight, but it looks like they may be a hair right unless Dennis wobbles back NWish between now and the next point.
