Coordination With Cuba

#1 Postby Sean in New Orleans » Sat Jul 09, 2005 12:38 am

Discussed briefly (between the met and news anchor) during informal sessions of the news broadcasts on FOX 8 News the last couple of days is how interesting it is how closely Cuban Mets and US Mets coordinate when hurricanes are a threat to both countries. The point was brought up how the governments don't communicate, yet, when hurricanes approach, there is a close relationship between Cuban Mets and US Mets. It was also discussed how American planes are not allowed to fly over Cuba and record stats of the system while it is over the Cuban Mainland.
