this morning up here in New Enland, the Keene Sentinel was headlined "Dangerous Dennis defies weather norms"
some excerpts from the article:
if it strikes the US as a major hurricane, it will be the first one in 70 years to do so in July.
Dennis is one of 7 major hurricanes to occur in July in the past 150 years of record keeping.
about a half-million people in coastla Alabama and tens of thousands in the more in the Keys and low-lying areas of the Florida Gulf Coast were ordered to evacuate.
10 dead in Cuba.
There are still 3000 people in Floridas panhandle living in temporary federal housing because of last years hurricanes... over 9200 throughout the state.
anybody else want to put in what media has been making of this?
