Tourist industry going to take a beating
Tourist industry will take a beating. It is only going into the second week of July. You know how many people have vacation plans booked on the Florida panhandle this week? It is the busiest part of the tourist season right now. And a lot of people earn their living off of it on the Alabama/Florida coastline. I got plans to go to Destin August 4th-11. Had it booked since March. I just hope that nothing is out there the week I decide to go.

They've had some business owners in the industry from Pensacola on the news here in New Orleans and they are devastated this is happening again. Several said the emotional toll is just too much and they are closing their businesses and leaving the area for good. I feel sorry for them. I really do.
