Frictional Effects of land on Dennis, more west?

Remember last year with Charley. It was barreling towards Cape Coral, then bounced off Sanibel Island and went further west and then north.

Dennis did the same thing towards Cuba.

Will Dennis do the same thing again when in comes towards Pensacola Beach? Will it bounce to Baldwin County in Alabama?

Well...the latest frames on radar show movement due north.

People who see any east movement need their eyes checked.

I don't see the nne movement either. Motion is still fairly nnw with maybe a slight n-ly jog at best if at all.

I don't see any east movement either, but then again, I've been looking at sat pics and radars so long, I can't even flush the toilet without seeing an eye. Image

Its not, its a due north wobble. Just the way it looked on radar, we know how our eyes play tricks on us. It mighta moved 002 degrees...not really an east movement.

I see a wobble just a smidge to the east on KEVX and KMOB but it is only at most 2-3 degrees. It is just measureable with Gibson Ridge though.... just a hair east. Clearly at this point its nothing to raise an eyebrow about, and anyone calling it a 'trend' at this point is splitting hairs at best.

Looking at the topic of this post will dennis try to ride the coast to the west like it did when it came into cuba?
