Development along SE US coast?

#1 Postby wxwatcher91 » Tue Jul 12, 2005 11:04 am

I'm looking at the wind shear forecasts and it looks like it will be prime for development along the southeast coast later this week. This around where Alex formed last year... going by the fact that there will be no wind shear and there will be the warm waters of the Gulf Stream, I wouldnt be suprised to see something develop there by the end of this week.

Unfortunately, there isn't anything really there. There is some convection east of the Bahamas, but not much there.
