If you put up plywood, have you taken it down yet?

All be it a small gesture for this lazy man, I am doing what I can to save my community from a direct hit. I collaborated with Mr. Murphy, and together in defiance of mother nature I proudly sacrifice and suffer through the dark days and refuse to take my plywood down, comforted by the knowledge that as soon as I do remove the plywood from my windows, a potentially devastating weather condition will develop aimed right at South Baldwin County. I also flat out refuse to cut my grass in protest and I shake an angry fist at the sky..." I WILL OUTLAST YOU, HURRICANE GODS!" It is a small price to pay for the good of my community.

Interesting first post, 3rd eye!! In answer, though, my plywood came down the Monday after Dennis. Guess my community will have to be saved by someone else.... Too dark in the house for my senses. Welcome to S2K!!

We took the plywood off of the baywindows in the kitchen and the french doors in the living room and the master bedroom but on the master bedroom the plywood is still up there. It will be coming down probably this week. DH is going to put hurricane clip in the stuff instead of drilling holes in the brick.

There are people here where I live that still have their plywood up from last year.
