I mean even though it's to weak to have an EWRC the center jumping around and it re orgainizing is kind of like that. This is hard to say and I am not trying to be nonsensical.

Huh, according to Derek this is an open wave (possibly). This depression has no closed circulation to have an EWRC.

actually I was kinda thinking that myself for a few minutes (no joke).
the thing im wondering about is if this latest shift could mean strengthening for Irene... the latest shift of the center places it closer to the convection and maybe this means better organization of the system... dont listen to me though, lets have a pro met here answer some of these questions...

Its fighting for survival like all of us would do if we were getting hammered with shear and dry air......Its fought to hard for to long to die now. PLUS, I'm going to lose money on it if it does......go Irene go!

The number one thing about Eyewall Replacement Cycles is that you have to have an eyewall to replace. Eyewalls are not generally observed in tropical cyclones until they hit about 55kt or higher then they begin to develop eyewalls. At the moment, the system is sheared. If the shear relaxes, then reintensification is very possible.
