This morning Irene was finally upgraded to a TS. She has been slowly stengthening but her center is still hard to find. She doesn't look very orgainized to me,although she does have some nice banding features on her NE side. She looks to be sheared on her SW side and those pesky SALs are still kepping her at bay. a 5mph increase isn't that big of a deal and sometimes she looked better on the IR when she was a TD. For my intesity forecast I will she will make it up to 70mph by this evening and by tommorrow evening 90mph. After that she will bomb to a cat2 once she gets out of those SALs and into the Gulf Stream.
With track I do not think she will be a fish. ALthough if she goes around the high as my local met said then she may be a fish. I will move my track forecast a little farther north to Cape Hatteras. But still anyone from Jacksonville to Virginia Beach please montier the situation.
My second decent forecast
