1) THE AREA OF CONVECTION PREVIOUSLY LOCATED NEAR 9.5N 139.6E
HAS BEEN RELOCATED NEAR 12.1N 139.1E, APPROXIMATELY 165 NM NORTH-
NORTHEAST OF YAP. RECENT SATELLITE FIXES COMBINED WITH ANIMATED
MULTISPECTRAL SATELLITE IMAGERY SUPPORT THIS POLEWARD SHIFT. THE
RELOCATION OF THIS WEAK LOW LEVEL CIRCULATION CENTER NOW COINCIDES
WITH AN AREA OF PULSING DEEP CONVECTION. UPPER AIR ANALYSIS DEPICTS
LOW TO MODERATE VERTICAL WIND SHEAR AND FAVORABLE DIVERGENCE ALOFT.
MAXIMUM SUSTAINED SURFACE WINDS ARE ESTIMATED AT 10 TO 15 KNOTS.
MINIMUM SEA LEVEL PRESSURE IS ESTIMATED TO BE NEAR 1010 MB. THE
POTENTIAL FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A SIGNIFICANT TROPICAL CYCLONE
WITHIN THE NEXT 24 HOURS REMAINS POOR.
