Gulf of Mexico Tropical Summary - GUTS IN on August 12, 2005
<img src="http://www.diamondheadweather.com/guts20050812.jpg">
The upper level low that was over the Yucatan earlier in the week
has moved inland over the northern gulf coast. This will promote
showers and thunderstorms in that area.
The Florida peninsula will see an increase in moisture from the southwest
as the flow on the south side of the ULL is feeding a lot of moisture
that way.
I do not expect tropical cyclone formation in the GOM in the next
48-72 hours.
