Eastern Atlantic Tropical Summary - EATS OUT on August 13, 2005
<img src="http://www.diamondheadweather.com/eats20050813.jpg">
The Eastern Atlantic is starting to become more favorable for tropical
cyclone formation, as moisture is building in the region. Invest 96L
continues moving westward and may develop into a tropical depression
today. Another tropical wave is moving westward near the Cape Verde
Islands. This wave will not likely develop, but should continue pushing
moisture across the eastern Atlantic. This will likely pave the way for
the start of the Cape Verde season.
For comparison, here's the EATS for August 9, 2005 - notice how much
more moisture is in the eastern Atlantic today!
