I can't get globals so it is only running GFDL and other tropicals. Also, GFDL is tracking "91" the others are on the Caribbean wave. Can't do anything about that ATTM but will keep working on it.

Scott,
The 23.0N 75.0W are a standard NHC transmission test for NHC model runs.
It's desperately confusing to a lot of people because REAL NHC runs on systems before they are TDs are called "Test Messages" as well.
But the 23.0N 75.0W aren't "real" test runs" they're "test" test runs. It's simply a mythical storm to test their transmissions. Has nothing to do with a "wave" anywhere near it.
It's unclear to me what is up with the NHC runs. You never see GFDL runs on a proto-TD without accompanying real NHC "test" runs.
They sent the "test" message twice in quick succession today, seems they have had commo problems; I've heard from NWS mets that they often have problems even getting the NHC runs transmitted to the NWS, oddly enough.
