The models haven't given up yet I think we need to wait until it gets north of the islands to see what it decides to do.

Jose makes landfall at the tip of the Delmarva peninsula and splits into two storms. The west storm follows the susquehanna river and stalls over Harrisburg, washing the 3-mile island plant into the Chesapeake bay. The east storm follows the Delaware river north to New York State and turns into an August Blizzard over the Adirondack mountains, leading to the best ski season ever.

TD 10 reforms...but this time with a delicious creamy nougat center! Airborne Saharan dust is magically transformed into sweet milk chocolate and drawn out of the Atlantic skies into the feeder bands, spiralling into the sweet, gooey vortex.

Upon news of the storm's incredible confectionery composition, the National Hurricane Center breaks with tradition, and instead of assigning the name "Jose" from the official list, holds a press conference to announce that it will begin taking corporate sponsorship bids to name the system with all proceeds going to charity.

Tens of millions of enraptured American schoolchildren hop on their PCs, feverishly google "hurricane", and find their way to Storm2k to engage in heated arguments over Category D – for de-licious! – Hurricane XBox 360's potential sweetness at landfall, unabashedly -removed- for the spun sugar winds, torrential milk chocolate rains, and creamy nougat center to pass over their hometowns...the resulting record log-ons inundate the server, and....CRASH!

Unnnngh. Too much candy. I...think...I'm gonna... :18:

Is it coming to Galveston? Do I need to evacuate? I see an eye.

I think *someone* must have seen "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" recently? :)

He decides to break all the records, and goes 5 for 5 - 5 landfalls as a cat 5...and he's schizophrenic.

First he wants to be Andrew, slams Miami, but this time hits dead-on at downtown, then turns SW and traverses the Keys back into the GOM.

Then he wants to be Elena, rakes the northen GOM and makes another landfall further west, this time SE of New Orleans, pulling the whole lake into the city.

He jumps back west, out over the water, and then makes another hit on Jamaica Beach, leveling Galveston.

But wait, there's more...ala Allison he loops back around into the GOM and pulls a Donna, but this time making landfall in Tarpon Springs, FL, putting the entire Tampa area under water with a massive surge....but the grand finale is still ahead...

Jose says "I still want more" so he cuts east, pulls another Charley on Orlando, then heads north, making his final landfall in Northern New Jersey, destroying Manhattan and the US Economy.

(and thank God this is just a scenario to kill some time..........)

TD 10 is going to hit the coast of Florida as a major Category 3 or 4. It will be in a low shear, high SST environment. It will explode soon. This is not a joke forecast.

I think it maybe possible Sco.

Here is my joke.

Jose/10 bombs into a cat5 hurricane hits near the nhc. In the nhc never notices it? The next morning they walk out in everything is leveled.
