ImpactWeather and Caribbean Sea Distrubance

#1 Postby KatDaddy » Thu Aug 18, 2005 5:13 pm

Tropical Disturbance 31 : Disorganized thunderstorms continue across the central and western Caribbean Sea primarily associated with an upper-level low. Upper level winds are becoming more favorable and we do think there is some potential for development over the next several days. This system will move slowly west-nortwest toward the Yucatan Peninsula over the weekend.

More potential than in previous weeks over the Caribbean. something is eventually going develop with this pattern. I am expecting a tropical storm to develop over the weekend in the Atlantic Basin. We are on the edge of a burst IMO.

Katdaddy i checked the pressure in San Andres which is located at about 13.0n&80.0w at about 1:00pm and it was 29.84. I checked it again a few minutes ago and it was 29.80 or 1009mb.
