Hmmm......

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Hmmm......

#1 Postby dixiebreeze » Mon Aug 22, 2005 3:04 pm

Quite a pressure drop here in W.C. Fla. this afternoon -- and no storms, etc. It's been 30 + for days and all of a sudden:

Pressure: 29.85 in / 1010.7 hPa

I know that's not terribly low, but the drop was very sudden. Anything going on in the eastern GOM?

Dixie...Thanks for the information! I'm not sure if this pressure drop means anything, but I always appreciate your observations!

Thank you, Rockyman. With all the chatter about the GOM the past couple of days, any pressure drop seems to be -- at the least -- interesting.

FWIW...I'm in New Jersey, and the pressure is 29.83.

I'd say $0 is about what it's worth. Thanks for playing! :D

It could have something to do with the thunderstorm to your south producing hail.
