This is an intresting one with the Andrew anniverary tommorow

The question is not the most powerful or the deadliest nor costliest

its all those combined

cost, deaths, strength together should determine the storm that winds (get it winds)

Mind you Ivan was not included cause it hit alabama

Neither should Ethel because it didn't hit Florida either.

Otherwise, this is a good poll, pretty hard for me, either Labor Day 1935, Great Miami Hurricane 1926, or Hurricane Andrew 1992, but I voted for the Great Miami Hurricane.

Anyway I had to go with the San Felipe Lake Okeechobee Hurricane

3000 deaths, 150mph at landfall, and if it hit today 25 Billion+ in damage
