Pressure 902 mb, winds down to 165 mph

Looks like its fluctuating, but the pressure still remains the same, heading towards the warmest waters currently.

Am I right in assuming that the winds will likely raise again following the pressure drop? I just can't believe any of this, it's like we are watching some Hollywood disaster movie play out.

Let's hope the weakening trend continues. I'm hoping that the trough gets the best of it and weakens it to a strong Cat 4 prior to landfall, but even that is going to be awful, so it really doesn't make that much of a difference.

So far, there has been one in northern Mobile County, just at the MS/AL line. Keeping my fingers crossed there won't be many more. And fervently praying that Katrina does not deviate from her track. I don't wish her on anyone but there has been no evacuation (other than below I-10 in Mobile or Baldwin Counties.
