I AM BACK!!!

#1 Postby CYCLONE MIKE » Wed Aug 31, 2005 8:10 pm

Just wanted to let everyone from around SE LA area that I just got power back up and doing well considering what my neighbors to the east are going through. Storm missed us by about 90 miles not much damage just power out since Sunday night. I know I have missed a lot and have a lot of catching up to do. Is there any type of thread where we can check to see how other posters from down here are doing and report back in as they become able? Or do I need to check in the hurricane aftermath forum to check on others ?

Welcome back! Check in the aftermath forum. It was created today (thanks mods!) because there were so many that the new invest/TD threads were getting lost. Glad you're doing well, and welcome back in time for Lee, 92L, and maybe 93L LOL

Yeah , it is unreal what New Orleans is going through. I have seen footage for the first time today and all I can say is damn. Of course on a bad note is all those f'n people that have to take advantage of misery and go looting everything in sight

Even watching it on TV is nothing like being there as I have heard.

Hard to comprehend for everyone.
