A new reason people didn't evacuate

I just got an email from my cousin. They just went over to Long Beach again today and she talked to a couple of her neighbors (young guys) near the college they said they didn't evacuate because they saw all the media and storm chasers coming to the area it must not be coming here and besides they always make it look so exciting!!

I have to agree I think that may be why so many on the boards want to experience a hurricane. The video these guys capture is horrifying but kinda like watching a movie. Mind you these same guys said smellovision would have changed their minds since there were a large number of shipping containers that were frozen chicken which is now rotting chicken all over Gulf Port and Biloxi area. She says the stench does really drive home what you are seeing.
