What are your local mets saying about Opelia........
Our local met here said that if she loops it could potenialy be a Carolinas storm.That is with his long range models.

Personally, I would not be shocked if it ended up near the Carolinas at all.
Just don't think it will hit the NE Fla, Ga coast. Seems to me that these areas have some kind of "immunity shield"!!!

I think it will get slowly shoved out to sea, but then the ridge will quickly build in and shove it south and southwest, creating a full loop as it heads north and west up the EC through the Carolinas and further to the north. Then a trough finally comes in and erodes the ridge, by that time it will be near new england and finally turn north then east while it's in New England, it will become extra-tropical and finally dissipate.
