just got back from TWC and OMG are there some FREAKS over there! i mean i was lurkin' and checkin' profiles and wondering why the heck they haven't been booted for just what's in their public profile! i'm not gonna name names but dag, TWC is just waaaayyy too outta hand even for me. p

i'm not meanin' to dis but some of those folks can just uh... stay put. johnadmin needs to put the smack down on some of those profiles fo' sho'!

(makes me wonder, why the one's who should be canned aren't and vice versa)

Hi Pawlee - we each seem to realize in our own time how out of control it is over there. Sometimes it's happened in batches, ban after ban. I was banned for adding a Storm2K link to my last post. Oh well, like David I just couldn't care less now. I haven't even contacted TWC to inquire about coming back. I do still have TWC bookmarked but honestly, I should just delete their bookmarks! I'm terrible at keeping my bookmarks up to date anyway.

We hashed out all this TWC talk a few weeks ago and the Admin here asked us to please stop. You might not have noticed that. I think we had about 4 or so topics then all about TWC. I promised to comply and focus on Storm2K. I understand your take on the whole situation. I was there 2 weeks ago! In time you'll let it go too. Aren't you so glad you've got Storm2K? It sure makes me appreciate this place even more!

interesting indeed. I was banned for a "confrontation" with a certain un-named individual, who has subsequently been banned from every board on the planet! Now....if I had crawled back with my tail tucked between my legs and personally asked John to restore my priveledges, I was told I could come back in and play. Sorry....but I haven't had to play games like that since I was a teenager and wasn't about to start now!

No problem with your venting Pawlee. We all did that concerning that other place. We all were booted at the same time however. We understand your feelings about this.

Pawlee - it's okay you vented, as Linda pointed out! Please don't take my post the wrong way, I just didn't want to see this topic grow to many pages long. I also wanted to mention that it seems we all have to come to our own realization the other place just isn't that great anymore. And it's hard to do that! Very hard. I didn't want to believe it for a long time but the neat thing is - what we had there we have here! Actually more - monthly newsletters, members of the month, photo gallery, chat room, etc. The list could go on and on.

Just glad you're here now.
