looking at it, and shows when crossing chessapeke bay it strengthens a little

I can't imagine it would be over Chesapeake bay long enough for it to affect it

It energized Gaston just enough last year to up him back to TS status before he went offshore. He was moving due east at that time though, not sure if that makes a difference.
