This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

If anything that STALL you were talking about... it a slower west movement.. a slow sidestep...rather than the more NW it was doing.....

No it HAS NOT STALLED.. but it has taken a little wobble west. On that loop you will see a little box at the top of the loop, TROP FCST PTS, click it to make a check mark in that box. It will bring up the forcast points and you can clearly see the eye is indeed moving

Seems to be stairstepping as hurricanes usually do.....but my thinking is that the track seems to be more in line with Galveston...Freeport than east of there according to current general motion relative to the storm forecast plots.

I would rather see it hit NOLA. It would save lives and only hit a deserted area.

Reet definitely has NOT stalled, and appears to be taking a westerly wobble, but I anticipate this is part of the ERC conclusion and the NW component should resume. She should start riding up the weakness in the ridge to her north.

I hate to hear the comments that "I'd rather see it hit NO, . . . for whatever reason . . .

A point to remember, there is not much left in south Louisiana to protect areas that are north, east and west of New Orleans and those of us that have families that could be affected, would rather it hit areas that have already been evacuated.

Just MHO. . . .

NOLA is not deserted! My son is on the Westbank. I don't think he can afford to get out again and I am not sure I will be able to get him money at this point.

Good God, How old are you? Nine? Does your mommie know you are still up on the internet? One can only guess at your age based upon your reasoning...
