Made it to Temple
What a day! Got my dad out and are close to hospital if he needs one but what a day! No gas, driving with no ac...people zoning in stand still traffic and then almost crashing when you move....(me too) you just go into a daze..and get so sleepy cuz it's hot and your to afraid to turn on a/c and run out of gas. I love the Hilton cuz they had room for us. I finally slept for a few hours but now am back to worrying about the stall...I know everyone is focused ton the landfall...but God help those people if there is catastrophic flooding in Houston or on the road. I woke up last night hysterical to leave at about 2am...I should have left then but chose to wait until 5am for other family in fllood prone part but they couldn't get to us...they never made it past Rockwell....had wonderful family transmitting info between us all....just had to get it out I guess.....Good Luck and God Bless Texas (and LA)
