Measuring Snow

#1 Postby azskyman » Thu Oct 06, 2005 6:52 pm

Not far away for some of you, but for others still have some weeks to wait.

Or, like me, little chance to see it except on nearby mountains.

For those of you who take snow observing seriously, here is THE source for measuring snow. Answers plenty of questions, and takes the guesswork out of what to measure when it snows all day but never sticks or blows horizontally for hours on end only accumulating around the fenceposts.

Great resource...and tell them Steve sent you...
