front would clear out the tropics in the western part of the Atlantic Basin. He mentioned how the jet (stream) was coming down to "get" Wilma which would probably signal the end of genesis in the Gulf and Western Caribbean. While that makes sense, I wouldn't count out a stray tropical storm sometime between now and November in the western part of the basin - but that's just me.

I could see Nicole-like storms getting started in the central or east Atlantic. I don't know about the front.....they are projecting overnight low temps for Miami in the mid-60s after its passage. A cooldown, yeah, but not exactly a blast of tropics-killing Arctic air. Hardly any need to break out the sweaters, at any rate. lol
