Currently at my nearest reporting AWS station the temp is 94ºF with a 112º heat index, which is down from 97ºF with a 116ºF HI. The heat advisory has been extended at least through tuesday and now includes a much larger area than originally posted. At my house it is currently 97.2ºF. The low this am here was 77.4º. I think I'm gonna move up to blizzard's house!!!! :D

Well guys in case you havent checked my latest forecast t the storm2k weather central i will tell you that the heat will be around for alot of this week in TX so expect too see them ADVS to continue untill lter this week when a cold front nears the area................And yes the MA/NE/OH valleys will be heating up as well with most places beeing close if not above 90 tommorow and in the low to mid 90s by Wednesday and along with this will come the humidity which will probably bring on the heat advs in these areas as well with the heat indexs approaching 100-105 in some of these areas especially the bigger cities...............Sounds like a good week to take a trip to the Shore where the cooler ocean temps will help temper the heat a little along the eastcoast especially in the MA and NE where water temps range from near 70 at the VA/NC line to the Mid50s off of Cape Cod in the NE..................Dont expect much relief along the gulfcoast or SE coast where the water temps are in the 80s in most places from NC/SC boarder on south..................The great lakes offer some relief as well with water temps in the 60s along the Lake Erie shorline and the 50s along the Lake Michigan shoreline...............And of course the Pacific is cool all year round along the west coast...........

Here's something to cool everyone off, my parents are vacationing in Park City Utah and it is snowing up there right now and they've received almost a foot in the higher elevations! Check out these links for some COOL pictures.

92° here... not much of a heat index, but tomorrow that should begin to become a factor as the humidity increases.

Just wait until late July and August when the temps get up to the mid and upper 90's-100 on a daily basis unless we have rain. That is when its HOT!
