What celebrities (living) would you most enjoy meeting?

#1 Postby JetMaxx » Wed Jun 25, 2003 10:10 am

What celebrity (living) you've never met that most you wish you could?

It's very difficult to narrow down to one or two, but in my case...I've always wanted to meet Nascar legend Richard Petty. I also would love to someday meet country superstars Faith Hill and Alan Jackson..

What about you?

I would love to meet Jamie O'Neal, Dolly Parton, Deidre Hall, and Kurt Warner. All seem like ultimately nice people.

I'd like to meet Bill Gates. I'm not exactly sure what we would talk about. Bet I would whine about finding drivers for windowsXP. Then hit him up for a small loan. Just till payday of course :)

I suppose he would qualify for celeb status.

lol RP.
Besides Mel Gibson and each band member of Pink Floyd, past and present ... I would like to meet the person I most admire, John Walsh. I just want to shake his hand and say thanks for his single-minded determination of taking an unspeakable personal tragedy and turning it around for the greater good of society.

I just sit and wonder sometimes if Bill Gates would be interested in adopting a fat white boy from Georgia named Perry :D

Heck, he could even call me son :D

Definately Tom Hanks!

Anybody else would pale by comparison so no need to mention any others.

I just recieved the following email....it had to be from a kid. It said "Mr Perry, don't you want to meet Jessica Lynch? You do have a website about her and all". :D

Heck, if I wanted to meet Jessica Lynch, I'd offered her a lot more than a free Webtv homepage (didn't cost me a penny more than my regular Webtv service).
Besides, I've already met one American hero...Ron Young Jr. Folks don't usually get that lucky twice in the same decade. Shaking Ron's hand and seeing the beaming smile on his face was a moment I'll treasure forever. :)

Hey...for a lunch date, I'd love to have Faith Hill stop by and brown bag it at the plant. Heck, I'd even show her how the printing press runs.

I'd enjoy a quiet Sunday snowstorm around the fireplace with Colin Powell.

For weather conversation...I've had dinner with the finest already. Tom Skilling, a true weather enthusiast who has forever been on WGN, and I go way back...but I'd love a night out in Chicago talking about scud clouds and vortexes. Never had time to visit with him much.

On the sports side, maybe Kurt Warner. I guess I want to find a proclaimed Christian athlete who is really a Christian athlete.

My humor is best reflected in Chevy Chase...so I'd enjoy a vacation with him and his family...as long as Beverly D'Angelo was along for the ride.

And what the heck, while I'm dreamin', why not dinner with the Simpsons. After all, Homer is a graduate of NIU (Northern Illinois University) like me.
