Depends on when you shot that video, 100+ mph gusts were over your area. The video clip doesn't look like 100mph winds, more like 60-70mph.

45-55 sustained 65-75 gusts. Scorpion - i live in palm beach gardens and there were times when the wind was blowing a lot harder than what's depicted in your video. Does anybody remeber CNN's coverage of Dennis where a sign almost took out Anderson Cooper? Remember how you would see this wall of white water that would accompany the extreme gusts? Well, on the back side of Wilma i saw alot of that where visibility would drop and the winds would dramatically pick-up (albeit briefly)

I'd say from my experience here in Orlando with Charley (105mph), Frances (62mph) and Jeanne (78mph) that what I'm seeing in your video is less than all three of those. I'd guess 40-50 mph w/some higher gusts. I'm sure that you got much worse winds during the entire event based on all the damage that we're seeing though.

Definitely at least 70 mph in my opinion. It was about the same force as the wind that knocked me down when I attempted to go out in it, and I believe Cat 1 winds will knock you down. The first clip(without the sound) shows the strongest wind, the other clips are much much weaker. But I would guess the first clip is about 80-90 sustained gusting to 105. I wish I could have recorded more of the strongest winds. If those other winds are only 60-70 mph then I got 45-50 mph from Frances because the winds in the video are far more than I ever saw from Frances.

I dont know about low end TS, I always assumed more like very strong TS to minimal hurricane force. I thought that strong TS would have you leaning in the wind pretty good and hurricane force would be powerful enough to knock you down. I was certainly knocked down on numerous occasions and couldnt get back up until after the wind died down a bit. But I probably didnt get those winds on video as I was likely out in the worst of it.

Sustained winds are those that blow for 60 seconds. The video is only about 10-15 seconds, so I'll have to assume winds were about that same speed for the rest of the minute. Looks like barely TS-force wind at times, with lulls below TS force. Maybe 35-45 mph sustained at best, with some gusts perhaps as high as 50-55 mph. Again, it's hard to tell in the video because it jumps around a lot. I can assure you it is absolutely nowhere near hurricane-force, even the gusts. I didn't see such wind evidence on that video, anyway. Can't say what happened before or after.
