While there will probably be 2++ inches of liquid equivalents all the way up the I-95 corridor from NC to Maine, it seems that the snow thumping will be in the north and NE PA and especially the Catskills and Adirondacks (2 feet??). Anyone east of there will be too warm in the mid-levels to see an all-snow events, thus greatly reducing the totals. However, I think DC and other major cities will receive snow from the upper-level dynamics following the main low pressure.

If my area gets snow this month, actually accumulating, then it will be the first time in 10 years that has happened. Last year there was snow falling on November 12th, but it only slightly dusting the leaves which made it look like a frost. It was all gone by morning.
