Please forgive me for one more TV Alert, but in case there are KL fans in the house, there's a reunion tomorrow night. Just a gathering of the former beloved show's cast (I was a diehard fan!), reminiscing, not a continuation of past storylines. I like it better this way. Check out this link for more info....

They all look so good, still. I watched the previews

Kelly - If you recognized the actors' faces, then it was probably KL you're thinking of. It was a spin off of Dallas, however to be technical, written first but shelved by the network. Dallas was pitched, CBS went for it, when it became a huge hit, they took another look at KL. It was decided to make one of the KL culdesac couples a Ewing couple. Hence, the Ewing black sheep of the Dallas family - Gary.
I'm excited although I wish Joan Van Ark hadn't worn such a low cut outfit, a suit w/o a blouse underneath....and no guys, don't look, you're not missing a thing! You could see her concaved chest bones! She's over 60 now, isn't she? But other than that they all look great, even older than dirt Sumner!

Re: TV Alert: Dec. 2nd Knots Landing Reunion....
Thank you! I heard something about this last night while washing dishes so I didn't hear when it was or any of the other specifics. I used to love this show!!Miss Mary wrote:Please forgive me for one more TV Alert, but in case there are KL fans in the house, there's a reunion tomorrow night. I see that Lisa Hartman is still married to Clint Black too.

CM - JVA had plastic surgery long before she ever really needed it. Before the show even ended! You could really tell b/c in early seasons she looked normal, face filled out nicely, probably a size 6, and she went down to a size 2 but more than that, she had work done on her lip area, face was all taught and pulled back. I've always thought of all of them, Michele Lee and Donna Mills have aged the best. Have they had work done or not? Or should I say knot? LOL Doesn't matter to me, but when JVA had it done so early on, you sat up and took notice. Especially when she looked just lovely BEFORE the surgery!
Iceangel - I knew we'd have KL fans at S2K! Even my own family is reminding, "did you know a KL reunion is on Friday night?"........I did, not as into it anymore, we don't have Soapnet on our Satellite channel tier but I'm still fan. Cried buckets, and I mean buckets, during that scene when Karen brings the twins home to Val......oh my, I remember so much of that scene! If I ever see it, I am crying immediately. Seriously......similar to when Sid died.

At the studio, Cathy tells Joshua she's getting an apartment - with or without him. Joshua grabs her really hard and says to NEVER speak to him in public like that. Gary goes to Dallas for Bobby's funeral. Greg tells the Empire Valley foremen, Elliot, to blast for the TV station in another position, but he won't without Gary's okay. Val waits outside of the Fishers' house. Ben tells Harry that the twins might not be Val's, but either way they need to clear it up. Nurse Wilson finally shows up at the Judge's, and Mac gets a court order barring the Fishers from leaving. Sheila is really losing it, so Harry agrees to run away with her. Karen drives by the Fishers' house. She sees Sheila leaving, and Mac's men follow her. Karen sees Harry's inside, so she tells him she knows that Sheila doesn't really have the babies with her. Karen pleads with Harry and tells him that even if he didn't know the babies were stolen before, he knows now. She says they have no moral choice but to give them back to Val because how could they raise the children knowing the truth of the situation? Lilimae answers the door and screams for Val. It's Karen and Harry with the babies. They hand them to Val who hugs and kisses them, crying and laughing at the same time. Choked up, Harry slips out the door unnoticed.
