I seem to recall links on accuweather and TWC as well, with 3 or 5 day winter wx maps. Precip/temps. Each site has changed/updated from when I used to access these maps/forecasts. And I can'd find them. Of course they're probably still there, just knowing where to look is helpful. I'd prefer not to look at video, just links for maps please.
I'd be interested in ANY wx site, with short forecasts like this, the lower 48, precip, amounts, and temps. If you all know of any, I'd appreciate it.

On the Weather Channel site
On the Weather Channel site ( http://www.weather.com ), click on the little sneak link below the weather map on the left entitled "map room". Then click on the radio button marked "Weather details". Click on the item in the list box under "2" labeled "Weekly Planner". This gets you the 7-day prediction maps that TWC calls the "Weekly Planner".
