2 of them were found NW of Baghdad after they were taken by Iraqies a few days ago and another soldier died at an anbush of a convoy so after the war ended there haved been 24 US solidiers killed.I hope that the US does something to stop this blood endless thing.

I hope so too. I say pull our troops out of there and drop them the nuke. I am sick of all this.

While I abhor the continuing loss of life in Iraq we need to stay. We have a responsibility to see this until the end. If we pull out now we will leave a power vacuum that will be filled by one extremist group or another and in a few years we'll be right back there again. Rebuilding a country takes a lot longer that tearing a regime down. These attacks are designed to get the very reaction that I see posted above. We will never stop all of the attacks but we have to stay long enough to give a new government a chance to form and bring stability to the region! JMHO

The longer it takes to get a sense of "stability" in the country, the worse it is going to get for our troops. I sincerely hope that there is a "better" game plan in the works, because it doesn't seem like the one we have now (if there is one at all) is working.

BTW - Marty heard from his son Marty Jr. yesterday. He's currently IN BAGHDAD! :o He's still supposed to be coming home by the middle of July, but he said they're supposedly having problems getting planes out? I'm not sure how true that is or not, and I am getting the info second-hand. I think this is the time that we're most nervous.
