Site looks awesome Scott! :)

This is eerily reminiscent of T.S. Alberto in 94'...which made landfall near Fort Walton Beach and Destin in early July then flooded Georgia :(

Steve,

Yes.

I'm somewhat limited as to options given this version of StormTrakker is beta. Ver 5.5 displays run times and coords, the beta doesn't yet. As a workaround I put script in showing when the page was updated so folks know approximately when the models were ingested (just got the 18Z trops loaded). May dump the date/time script if it appears confusing.

I think sticking with version 5.5 is prudent for near landfalling TCs, but I manually plot globals for that which is time consuming. May do a little script to embed in the .bmp which displays model times. Still getting the feel of beta 6

and thanks!

#6 Postby Scott_inVA » Sat Jun 28, 2003 3:49 pm

Was watching the Yankees-Mets game (I'm originally from NY) and thought the software FTP'd to our server. Just got email no 18Z run.

sorry...it's updated

Yanks games come second *only* to landfalling Hurricanes.....
just ask my wife

Fixed and will have 0Z around 9-9:30PM.

Great job Scott! :) The bad thing is, this storm is going to bring very heavy rainfall to several areas that DO NOT need it! :o
