Global warming debate

#1 Postby Extremeweatherguy » Sun Jan 15, 2006 7:09 pm

Put forth your opinions and ideas on Global warming. What is your take on the questions and ideas below?

-Do you think it is really going to warm as much as scientists predict? Or do you think that the models they use to look out 100 years are no better than the 15 day GFS?

-Will the continued melting of sea ice overrun the Gulf stream with fresh water and then shut it down causing a mini ice age for the U.S. and Europe? Recent reports have confirmed that it IS slowing.

-Will NYC be like Miami in 100 years?

-Were these last two hurricane seasons part of a normal cycle or global warming?

-If we are in global warming, then how come Asia is seeing their COLDEST air in 20 years and how come New Dehli had it's first freezes is 70 years?

If we're lucky, then may be we can get a good debate started up here for all those boring weather days when there is not much else to talk about...
